* Sunday, September 2nd 7:00 p.m. Beth Moore Bible Study Organizational meeting, in Life Builders Sunday School Room. There are two studies on David; "A Heart Like His", an 11 week study and "Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed", a 6 week study. Plans are to begin September 9, 2010. This study would be open to both men and women. Please make plans to attend so we can select the study and order the correct number of books.

* Backpacks If any adult members/attendees would like a backpack, we ask that you donate $7.50 to cover the cost and so our supply could be replenished.
* UPWARD SEASON 12 It's time to begin planning for our season. What can you do? Volunteers are needed: coaches/assistant coaches, referees, concession stand help, time keeper, scorekeepers, practice night hospitality room workers (this is a chance to make the connections) If you're willing to volunteer please contact Barb (322-7986) or Renee (338-1970) Background checks need to be updated and the process can be started now. Help us make this an awesome 12th season.
* Remember the new Mission Box everyone is asked to bring $1.00 per Sunday and place it in the box, monies will be used as outreach in our community.

* Special note from Rev Trish Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ. It is with great joy that I write to you this day. I have seen the hand of God upon this place! Our preschool class is growing...Peggy Mouser is lead teacher. Sunday she had two of her daughters in there helping her. What a wonderful sight. I want to thank them for willingly assist in this ministry. However, I would also like for them to have an opportunity to attend Sunday School if they desire to do so. Remember everyone of us are the fruit of another person's ministry and faithfulness! Here is an opportunity for you to assist in the growth of the Kingdom of God.
We would like to have a second teacher in the following classes: Preschool, Younger Elementary, High School (at least for the summer). We are also in the need for a middle school team.
Please add make this a part of your prayer life and respond as the Lord directs. Maybe you could teach/assist for a quarter. Maybe you know someone who is waiting to be asked. Maybe you know more children that need to be invited. Speak to God and Listen for His reply.

Sacred Stitches is in need of Black, Red, and White yarn. Three skeins of any on color, any brand, will be appreciated.

Our goal is to have food bags assorted and ready to go when a call comes into the office. Volunteers are
needed to sort and bag food. As temperatures change and bills fluctuate, needs will increase. If you
can spare an hour or so a month please call the office.
Please consider making a special offering towards this ministry.

Friends on a Journey
We are a group that meets during the Sunday School hour. Everyone is welcome to join us. We all learn together
and invite new people along the way. We strive to evangelize. It is our goal to bring new folks to Cooper.
We meet, eat breakfast and talk and pray.
We understand that we don't have all the answers and we don't try to fix anyone or offer unsolicited advice.
We do feel that we know who does have all the answers and we happily introduce our best friend to anyone interested.
We pray for each other and for the people who aren't here that we hope to meet on our journey each week.
We are flawed humans seeking guidance daily from our best friend Jesus.
Some of us have gladly received the blessing of salvation and hope to help others find this beautiful gift as well.
We are still studying Revelation and would welcome new people in our class. Our concept is always discussion and study together. This unit has been interesting and challenging. We are gaining insights and skills to help in sharing our faith from this study. Join us anytime if you are looking for a Sunday School home.
Breakfast and Bible Study are at 9:30 a.m. (Summer hours).

Children 4 and up are encouraged to pick up a "Worship Bag" as they enter the Sanctuary.
We are excited that you will be joining us for worship and look forward to seeing you grow in Jesus.

Sing, Share and Pray group on the second Thursday of every month at 1:30 pm. It is held at the Community
House of the Village patio homes of Wesley Manor at 5400 East Manslick Rd and is led by Nina Adams.

One Voice
Invites singles of ALL ages to join in a time of fun and Christian fellowship.
We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month and have lately been enjoying
